Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2025

These terms explain how you can use TC Mobile (techchink.com) and what you can expect from us in return. They are written in plain English. By using this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who we are

TC Mobile is a new, independent website about phones and the mobile industry. We publish reviews, spec sheets, comparisons, how-to guides and news. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the people who run this site, and “you” means anyone reading or using it.

Using our content

Everything on this site is here for your personal, non-commercial information. You’re welcome to:

  • Read, browse and share links to our pages.
  • Quote short extracts in a discussion, review or social post, as long as you credit TC Mobile.
  • Print or save a page for your own reference.

You may not, without our written permission:

  • Republish, copy or reproduce our articles, reviews, images, tables or spec data in full or in substantial part.
  • Sell, license or repackage our content.
  • Present our work as your own.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site, including for training datasets.

The text, original photos, graphics, comparison tables and layout of this site belong to us unless stated otherwise.

This is not professional advice

Our content reflects our research, testing and opinions. It is general information, not professional, financial, legal or technical advice tailored to your situation.

A few examples of what that means in practice:

  • Buying decisions. A phone we rate highly may still be the wrong choice for you. Your budget, carrier, region and habits matter more than our score.
  • Network and carrier compatibility. Band support and carrier features differ by model and country. Confirm compatibility with your carrier before you buy, especially for imported or unlocked phones.
  • How-to guides. Some guides involve changing settings, updating firmware, unlocking bootloaders, rooting or installing custom software. These steps can void warranties, break features, wipe data or make a device unusable. Back up your data and follow any guide at your own risk.
  • Health and safety. We don’t give medical or safety advice on things like radiation, batteries or charging. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and official guidance.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to get things right and we fix errors when we find them. Still, the phone industry moves fast, and some information changes after we publish it. In particular:

  • Prices vary by retailer, region and day, and promotions end without notice.
  • Specs can differ between regional variants of the same model, and manufacturers sometimes change components mid-cycle.
  • Software features arrive, change or disappear with updates.
  • Release dates and rumours about unannounced devices are not confirmed until the manufacturer says so. When we report on leaks or rumours, we say how reliable we think the source is.

Always check key details with the manufacturer, retailer or carrier before you make a purchase. We may update, correct or remove any content at any time without notice.

Reviews and opinions

Our reviews and comparisons are our honest opinion at the time of writing. Another reviewer, or you, may reach a different conclusion. Scores and verdicts can change as we spend more time with a device or as software updates change how it performs.

External links and third parties

Some pages may mention or point to other websites, such as manufacturers, retailers, carriers or other publications. We don’t control those sites and we aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices or the products they sell. Any purchase you make on another site is between you and that seller.

If we ever earn money from links or advertising on a page, we will say so clearly.

Trademarks

Product names, brand names, logos and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus and every other company we write about own their own marks. We use these names only to identify and discuss products. Mentioning a brand does not mean that company endorses us, sponsors us or has any relationship with us.

Press images and product renders supplied by manufacturers remain the property of those manufacturers.

Acceptable use

When using this site, please don’t:

  • Try to break, overload or disrupt the site or its servers.
  • Attempt to access areas or data you’re not meant to access.
  • Upload or spread malware, spam or harmful code.
  • Use the site for anything illegal.
  • Impersonate us or anyone else.

If the site offers comments, forms or other ways to send us content, keep it respectful and lawful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, illegal content or material you don’t have the right to share. We may edit, decline or remove anything we receive, and we may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

By sending us content, such as a comment, tip or correction, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you allow us to use, edit and publish it on this site.

Limitation of liability

In plain words: we provide this site “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or suited to your needs.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from:

  • Relying on information on this site.
  • Following a guide or tutorial, including any damage to your device, data or warranty.
  • Buying a product we reviewed, compared or mentioned.
  • Using any third-party site, product or service.
  • The site being unavailable, slow or affected by technical problems.

Some places don’t allow certain limits on liability. Where that’s the case, these limits apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here takes away rights you have that can’t legally be waived.

Privacy

How we handle any personal information is covered in our separate Privacy Policy, which you can find on this site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add new features to the site or when the law changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after an update, that means you accept the revised terms. It’s worth checking back now and then.
